My dad had some of the popular Audio Fidelity Jo Basile recordings and as a pre-kindegartener I would sit at the foot of his towering Altec-Lansing 604A speaker in the corner reproducing giant cabinet and listen to recordings like this. My young and fertile mind soaked up the quality sounds I was hearing and gave me a life long love of music and Jo Basile fits into this love of music very comfortably.

Jo Basile was a master. He knew the mechanics but, above all, he was an artist. In every play he creates art and transmits feelings and beauty. Although the record might be old, his music is everlasting. Thanks for posting his music.
Jo Basile fue un maestro. Conocía la mecánica, pero, sobre todo, era un artista. En cada ejecución crea y transmite sentimientos y belleza. Aunque el disco pueda ser Viejo, su música es permanente. Gracias por colocarla aquí.
