Some interesting facts about "The King". Dick Dale is of Lebonese descent so his style of music hints at a MidEastern or even an Arabic sound. ie. Miserlou. But there is alot of Rockabilly. Probably becuase Dick was a contemporary of Link Wray "The Rumble Man" who was heavily Rockabilly. Those two guitarists; Dick Dale and Link Wray are considered THE most influential guitarists of all time. Dick worked closely with Leo Fender to perfect electric guitar design. Dick was sort of a "test pilot".

I've been a fan since '61. Got to hear him play in San Francisco about 10 years ago. He did this song. Had 2 kick ass drummers. He's still the king.
