Too bad there isn't a live version of Home Free. If only I could get my hands on one. It would be as listened to as Neil Young live at Massey Hall. Man...too bad :(

OMG!! Has it really already been, four(4) years, since our collective heart, had a HUGE!! chunk excised from it, when this absolutey beautiful, humble, and talented artist was called home to Heaven?

This is beautiful.. I first heard this song as a test pressing. An engineer friend I knew in Nashville told me that he was the talk of the town.

What I would have given to see him early on...Dan will always be one of the best vocalist of all time and probably the best writer of ballads in the history of music. I will never forget this amazing artist, song writer and loving human being!!!

Gawd, what a voice. Just listening to him sing this -- my knowing, now, what his career became, and him, then, just a 21-year-old "pup" about to break into the industry ... wow. Makes me shiver, thinking of the future that laid ahead of this "young" Dan Fogelberg.
