LoL well put.
I don't get the point anyway, you have to be pretty fucked up if you can't tell the difference between fiction and reality. (I'd say the parents have neglected their duties pretty bad it that'd be the case.) And those rating markings aren't slapped on the video boxes for nothing.
Personally I think that if it's all explained to the children in a reasonable manner without over reacting, which would only cause traumas. this aplies to sex and violence mostly.

I remember when folks like that were blaming suicides commited by teens and young adults on the song (Don't Fear) The Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult. They completely ignored the rest of us who listened to the song and didn't decide to end it all.

ya know, if I were to decide that I was going to become a serial killer or something like that...I'd be sure to write up my "note" for them to find which clearly states, "I'm doing this after reading the books of Dueteronomy, Judges, and Revelations. PS-I never listen to rock music or play video games (except Bible trivia games)" It would be great to see their reaction to that...except that I would most likely be dead by then.
