@Chosenviper good god no plane should need to use its afterburners for takeoff. what is takeoff like 70-180 mph depending on wing size and lift to weight ratio

no shit sherlock. F22's are awesome but i just like su_37 cause the sukoi's maneuvers are pretty sweet, comparing THIS vid to the su-37.......... yahh.

It's not very typical of the F-22 to use afterburners on takeoff. They do it occasionaly at airshows but for stadard sorties there is really no point. F-22 has enough dry thrust to take off and go mach 1.8 without afterburners. In fact, I own a video which shows several raptors taking off with no afterburners. I will let you know when I upload it

AmfearLiathMor... why do you always badmouth the F-22? The F-22 does not need It's afterburners to take off. The pilot here just has them on to entertain the crowd. In a standard sortie, they never use the afterburners on take-off

sorry, the camera was a small digital camera, and i was filming over peoples heads... no image stabilization like on the fancy ones.
