    Its a rather difficult comparison to make. But I can think of several current actresses that are just as good. Meryl Streep is certainly just as regal and has every bit as much power. There are always talented people around. The thing is that movies have become much more natural and less staged. I think today the real talent is in tv series where a character can be developed subtly.
