I bet this Scop. wasn't shown much in the southern U.S. at the time. Especially since in 1966, when I think it was released most whites would have probably been up in arms over this white woman singing and dancing around a bunch of African-Americans. I wonder if John Waters ever saw this Scop, I could see it giving him some inspiration for some of his movies?
