is there anyway to make this better for bass? Some of my songs have the lights on most of the time. I wish it would flicker to bass strums and percussion.

yea, that problem is evident near the end of the video, which is why I stopped recording.

there isn't an option to adjust any settings at all. maybe you could give a shout to the creator for an update, although I'm not sure how willing he'd be to spend more time on this as I believe it was just a side project for him.

The keyboard is lit by LEDs, actually the ideal type of lighting for on/off cycling. As far as I know it doesn't hurt the lifespan like a fluorescent light.

And I don't use it too often - just when I want to show people how awesome Macs are. ^_^
