3D Rendering using Bunkspeed Drive 2012 beta with iray 2.0

Animation created in the upcoming Bunkspeed Move 2012 with iray 2.0. All lighting is using emmissive shaders and lights in Move. No hdr lighting.

Yes, vray is defenetly better than mental ray.

Well, GPU renderers arent as good as software renderers because some effects cannot be rendered on GPU. Dont know if thats what you meant, so i thought ill add that.

@Capeau I'm aware that it isn't the render engine but the hardware that makes rendering faster in THIS case (MT:CPU vs iR:GPU) but because there aren't enough well written GPU render engines out there, I assumed you'd probably prefer Mental Ray, which is -the- most popular amongst all.

Is VrayRT advanced enough to handle more shaders/materials than iRay?

So what if it renders on CPU? Its still faster because it uses smarter sampling.

By the way you said mental ray, not me. I prefer vray, which also can render on GPU by using VrayRT for all the gpu parrots out there who dont know what the difference is ;)
