I might have been for the bill if it taxed coal and promised to build more cheaper, safer, cleaner, and higher output nuclear power plants instead of extremely expensive and very poor output solar and wind power facilities.

if cap and trade were implemented globally, then i would be for it. not just because of energy but the fact that major corporations are polluting the earth. BUT... china and india are going to become the industrial powerhouses in the next 30 to 50 years. which have NO REGULATION OR PLAN ON HAVING ANY IN THE NEAR FUTURE. cap and trade in america will drive the price up on everything and taxes will soar... this is a global issue and until it is addressed as such its pointless in implement.peace
