I was in high school in the 1950s and, folks, this isn't the Disney version of how it was, this is how it was. We all knew we were living in a special time, we all knew a lot of it had the ring of being a very restricted and controlled culture, but on the other hand I don't think we felt we were missing anything. Yes, we dressed up to go other kids' homes, we were respectful our friends' parents
life was utterly predictable. It didn't last but it was nice to be part of.

thanks for posting these. i enjoyed watching them...i'm only 26, so this was well before my time but i do remember the disney channel playing reruns of the old mmc and these annette episodes would be on them.
