Why would you need more momentum if you're winning?
-
Don't kid yourself, fighting may be about pumping guys up, but it is also in retaliation or "protection" of skilled or younger players. It isn't a coincidence that Armstrong comes in right after fingers hit.
-
love when he says "shoulder hit, no problem" and at the same time u see that he doesnt touch the kings player with his shoulders.. its a forearm check.

lmao, amazing clean hit, then wrestles Armstrong the the ice
finger must be stronger then i first expected

Iove Finger hes awesome hes the most underated pick-up the leafs got this year
-
well i agree but i think to argue on the side with armstrong it was at high speed and it looked to me like his hands ended up in the face or neck of Oscar Moller. still when i saw the clips in this of Finger's other hits it looked like they were pretty clean just good solid hits. but the announcer may have over reacted a bit on finger's behalf.

oh really?

God! I knew we should have kept Finger on the Avalanche! I miss him.

Kart is correct. Finger does not leave his feet much either by the way. One of the cleanest hitters in NHL. Kind of Rob Blake like! Except Fings is American. They hit similar though.

I have been watching hockey since the LA Kings wore purple and gold.....which is about 25 years or so..... I know the game.....and while I agree that sometimes players fight simply for the momentum gain.....that does not mean I agree with it...and I dont.
Moller got Fingered... lmao. Clean check. Horrible 'fight' btw.
