We arent the ones in control of what we use what we buy Governments do that,I am just dictated too.I have no choice in my power distributor my transportation nor my food.I can only purchase what they offer.I cant even go in the woods and live off the land like a hermit it is illegal to do so for all the land belongs to industry and government.And to buy land you never own is or for that matter has a high price tag with it.

earth goes through cycles. its pretty arrogant to say we have some influence in the natural changes. of all the inhabitable land on the earth, humans only occupy 1% of it... sorry guys, but we're not really that big of a deal here.
