Adam Bateman, the new Smithson for the millennium

Adam Bateman recently graced me with a lovely surprise visit from his Utah outpost. To say I'm thrilled with his inclusion in Escape From New York would be the understatement of the millennium.

Watch as he shows me how he recreated the "Making Of" Robert Smithson's famed Spiral Jetty in his own original manner. I always did wonder how much a Tonka toy would do with a construction project. Here, we find out just how much effort it took to bring to fruition.
