I rewatched RZ's film and JC's. Rz had more a perverted movie i noticed. I'm not that big on pervert movies I agree that it was somewhat pointless to remake it. I also agree that the backstory was too much info. Meyers mysterious background did help with the scarieness.

Well what really worked so great with the original Halloween was that you didnt know much about Micheal Myers. He was like a local legend in Haddonfield, little tommy wallace refers to him as the boogyman the whole movie and in the remake none that was there. thank you for watching.

The original Halloween is my favorite movie. I did like the Rob Zombie remake however. I thought it was a good movie but no where as good as the original.

thanks for watching. to me remakes of John Carpenter movies never work because it impossible to recreate the world his movies take place in and the RZ remake just felt as though it was the same world as House of 1000 Corpes, and that world is not as interesting to me.

I love both films...Don't get me wrong John Carpenters is my all time favorite and always will be..also i find that Rob's film is a lot better if you don't compare it to John's.

I really enjoyed the RZ remake up until it became a remake half way through the film then you cant help but compare it to JC's classic. I love the whole series and would never call the remake the worst Halloween film to be made but it isnt the best either. thanks for watching.

everything that you guys are pointing out that why you do not like the remake is why i hate it. the mask was rediculously bad. the remake of dr. loomas i hated he did not portray the original and basically ha dno idea what michael was and had no idea what to do. and bringing michael mother into was a huge mistake you never saw her in any movie.

fuck rob Zombie's Halloween and fuck his other white trash films! Hillbillies arent scary....he should just stick to music, he is no John carpenter. I could go on & on.but I can tell u is that u dont need gore/blood to make a good horror movie,just a good story/atmosphere/script,etc. rob zombie's vision is "um fuck,mother fucker,uh rape, DUh!" also what's with young michael myers having all this rock music in the background? and he's a Kiss fan,WOW!

the ONLY remake of Halloween (1978) IF you 100% had to with a gun to your head... IF you had to remake it, The ONLY Director that would have made something interesting. "M. Night Shamblian" no clue how to spell the dudes name, but he would have made something interesting! If you watch Unbreakable & 6 Sense.. using your mind, the sound is amazing, the camera work is top notch! M. Night would be the only guy id trust doing a remake.
