  • I believe crack was addicted to him.

  • All respect to Samuel, he is a badass. He was a black panther before being famous. I just think he should grow the jheri curl back he had on pulp fiction lol

  • @03SP goodfellas? i think YOU are on crack.

  • You can tell he was on crack when he was in Goodfellas.

  • Samuel L.Jackson is very brave for being honest about his addiction. That bravery and honesty is rare especially in the entertainment industry that he works in, actually made me respect him more now because of it. That takes courage to come forward to admit to it when he could've easily denied it.

  • I salute Samuel L. Jackson for his very public disclosure. He may be able to reach someone who is still suffering from addiction. Family members can go to Al-Anon to get support , understanding, and practical help. It can be for any addiction not just alcohol.

I'm very grateful to my Higher Power for my 23 years clean and sober on 09/25/2011. Blueslifter

  • @Wolfsbane909 At the time he was having trouble landing roles due to his alcoholism, heroin and crack cocaine addiction. A user can still spend hundreds of dollars on on "dime rocks" at $10 a pop. As a clinical team leader on a dual disorders in patient unit (psychiatric diagnosis and addiction issues) I have found that crack is used widely due to the "convenience" factor (wide availability). His description of chasing the high is the reason the crack binge can last for hours.

  • Mr. Jackson, thank you for sharing your experience/testimony. I got down on my knees in tears and started praying AGAIN for a family member who's been struggling with a drug problem for over 30 years.

  • wow-he is amazing and honest-thanks for sharing a real story-when there is so much fake shit in the media

  • thanks sam and dave..now i know how to make crack..see u on the other sideeee
