CAKE Music Video "War Pigs" New song!

This is shot, the video is cool except like the pictures of Bush? whats that about, Get your facts right before you talk shit on the president, watching Cnn is not giving you the facts, just what the pussy commi liberals want to hear so they can talk shit on the troops while they sit and relax on their rich parents money.

And War Pigs is not a stupid song. Lyrically, even though it's basic, is possibly the most impactful song written in the past 60 years. Before War Pigs, anti war songs were peaceful. This one was angry. This song created the attitude that would drive Metal and Punk. It's not stupid. It's obvious that you don't like Black Sabbath, which is fine, but don't even think about dissing this song. It's more important to the progression of music than you could ever know.

Black Sabbath paved the way for all music after it due to its sludgy approach to playing. Whether or not you like them, you can't just say the presentation is better. It's cleaner. Not better. As far as the bass line goes, you're fairly wrong. Geezer Butler's bass line is a trebly blues onslaught. This one is a robotic techno line. How fitting, for a song that talks about the WAR MACHINE, to have a bass line that sounds produced from a machine itself.

The bass line, and over all musical presentation is far superior to it predecessor. Anyone who says otherwise is just doing so to be a contrarian. Now, that said, this song being better than the original, and having a kicking bass line... is not enough to make it a great song... because "warpigs" in general is a stupid song. This cover jams alright regardless though.

How can "Political" be a negative word?
I would like more musicians to speek their mind, then maybe the world would be a better place. To many people live in ignorancy.

Cake is an amazing band, but I do not let my loyalty to a band interfere with my judgment of their music. Not impressive.
