  • awesome,just awesome

  • @Drandarith Actually King Saul lost his soul by disobeying God, God lifted his Spirit off of King Saul because King Saul disobeyed him, after that is when he went to a woman who had familiar spirits and talked to demons that people think are dead people. And yes talking to the dead ( evil spirits) is an abomination and in those times they were to be killed, Jesus came for all to be saved and free from sin...

  • He didn't write the song. It was written by Lawrence Chewning. Lawrence and his wife did lose a child at 14 weeks gestation and were able to hold him, so maybe that is what he was referring to.

  • When I lost my sons 2 days apart from each other, this song helped me get up and face the days ahead. It has been 5yrs and almost 5 mos. since they are gone but this song still picks me up. I praise His Holy Name!! Thank You Lord!!

Hello, Yes in the old testament there are noted occasions where "psycics" were called upon by some ...However ...Saul lost his soul over seeking answers from such and it is an abomination to God....Becasue they were looking to someone other then the OnlyTRUE God!!! God tells us to stay away from those that talk with or to seducing sprits....Has nothing to do with the planting or fishing times like the farmers almanac. Hope that answers your question.

  • The Bible is hard to understand. Read it more and maybe things will start to make sense to you.

  • Astrologers are people who basically worship stars.

There's a huge difference between astrology and watching the phases of the moon to plant stuff.

And what kind of Bible are you reading that talks about psychics in it??

  • @Belongs2Christ The Bible also says that astrologers are an abomination to the Lord...yet, every December there are hundreds of thousands of the "Farmer's ALmanac" SOLD all over the World because Farmer's have to know the phases of the Moon for planting and to maximize their Crop yield ~ so Farmer's go to Hell too? Also, on 13 occasions in the Old Testament, "psychics" were consulted by Bible figures...why are the stories always crossed in the History of Chistianity?
