The reason he does it, a good example being around 0:30 is to put emphasis on the deception - as if hes putting his head down and putting lots of cut on the ball and playing a drop shot but at the last second plays a drive.
I notice all the top players drop their head and keep it still while playing the shot and during the follow through. I am curious what is the reason for this?

It's just a habit. No real reason for it
