@ClaireFish33 you right...lolzz...coz ive been in juvenile competitions before..here in the philippines...now i'm in junior level...here...i don't see any girls wearing socks in the juvenile competition, even a 6 years old competitor don't wear any socks...that's how we train the little feet from those..blisters...that's also how our couch train my partner(is also my sister)...during practice and rehearsals...so when we get blisters on our practices,we won't get any during actual competitions..
@caye321 of course not. i started when i was 5 but my current partner has only been dancing ballroom for 3 months (she's a professional ballerina though) and we won our first comp.
ps. i competed in this same category haha. but it was 2003 and 2004. so a long time ago. good times
Its isnt too late, you can dance solo in comps untill you are 16 and then you have to get a partner to carry on :/. You will just have to look for a partner haha its what im doing. x
is 15 years too late to start ballroom dance ? ive been dancing since i was 5 but never even tried to do tance with partner. i would very appreciate the aswer, thanks :)
Its true they have to wear them socks it is regulation all Juveniles have to wear them. As i would knoww because i have been dancing for years now. They are Amazingggg dancers they all deserve to be in the final :D
the socks are regulation, all juvenilles wear them, and i have to say the socks saved my feet from those shoes, when u dont wear socks you can get horrid blisters, especially if you have glittery shoes. nd they arent that bad. just white socks like every little kid wears to skool....
