NT Live announces 2010-11 season

The Guthrie will continue its participation in NT Live -- an initiative by the UK's National Theatre to broadcast high-definition performances of its plays to more than 300 venues worldwide -- and serve as the upper Midwest's only screening venue. Following the successful launch in June 2009 with the acclaimed production of Phèdre starring Helen Mirren, NT Live's first season was seen by over 150,000 people on 320 screens in 22 countries. Season two titles include: A Disappearing Number (11/6), Hamlet (1/20), Fela! (1/27), King Lear (2/21), Frankenstein (4/3) and The Cherry Orchard (7/18).
