Break free from Icarus struggle

I do a breakout as I approach Icarus, ive only tried this once. Will experiment further with this one and other FMVs/cutscenes. (Im going to try to do a second breakout next time, just before he pulls me over the edge).Ive noticed that the game sometimes remembers the last move Kratos was doing, even after an FMV/cutscene is finished (dont know if this is all of the time).

Will upload further findings with this technique.
Ive barely scratched the surface.

I did a breakout in which you are falling. All you have to do is be in swimmingness and after he pulls you over the edge, press square fast. You should break out. (God of war collection)

I've broke out twice from Icarus like you do here on the vid, but never thought to get past that QTE prompt sequnce. Don't know what would happen then.
