PocketTouch 1.1 Preview

Preview of PocketTouch 1.1. I think I am finally done tweaking the GUI.

Also, this version incorporates the shake features of the iPhone/iPof to change to the next song. This is the first time this has been done for either of these two devices. I plan on making this feature a standalone feature as well.

hmm. maaayybe not the best idea. i was just working and i had it in my pocket with pocket touch on and any time i would bend down to scrub something, it would either pause or skip a track. i wonder if this would happen with the shake too, like, if i walked a little too quickly or something it might skip. anyway. i love what you do skylar. this is an awesome app! -yeah_boi

how sensitive is the shaking feature?

i dont want my music to change every step i type lol =P

right now it's sensitive. I am going to spend some time trying to find the perfect balance, then release 1.1.

It can if you enable that feature in 1.1. Of course, it can also be disabled if you don't need it.

i want to add this feature. how do i? im new to the jailbreak process and a lil tiny help would be cool. I dont see this in installer. do i have to add a specific source? thanks guys

ummm when i use this app it runs my battery down just like if the screan was on because you not turning the screen off your just making it black so it still waist power like if it was on so umm....coul u help me uut with that

awesome man but just one request please change the the time for depression to open preferences fro 1 sec to 3 sec so that there is no problem as while using sometimes by mistake the finger creates a depression for one sec and opens up the preferences. :)

looks awesome dude love the shake function thanks for puting this on. I would still suggest when u are done make many features ready to use and allow us to choose wht we want so that way it settles the problem of everyone wants certain things.

Very nice, is there any way that there could be a user configurable option where we can change the duration of finger depressed to activate the settings screen

reason being, when i am using it for notmal operations, like changing volum eor attempting to pause/unpause from withing my pocket, it appears to be activating the settings, which then means i am unable to control the song at all.

an increase in time needed for settings, like 3 seconds - or a hot spot on the screen would be perfect!!

That shake feature would be cool to just have as a daemon running in the background that works whenever playing music. It would of course need an application/integration with Preferences.app so that you could turn on/off the feature whenever you wanted, but I think that would be pretty flippin' sweet. =O
