  • @mitkohazard Negative, sir. Old jags are notorious for having craptacular build quality. Ford made them better.

  • @lowcostvideos I'm thinking of buying this car for my second car, my first one, a VW passat has too many problems right now and too expensive to replace, but this Jag, a 03' costs $3500 with 160,000 KMs on it. My question is: Is it a good car? Overall, how many problems did you incounter, do you enjoy the car? Jags have been on my wall since I was a kid, I love them, and I always wanted one, and having one when I'm young is an honour, thanks.

  • @MadDogMeh It's a reliable car. It definitely needs premium - the injectors have gotten foulded a couple of times but otherwise no real problems. But $3500 seems low, there must be something wrong with it (?)

  • @frigg181 First of all, Top Gear loves the Mondeo. Case closed. Second of all you should really sit in a car, or even see it before making that kind of judgement.

  • beautiful car nice video (Y)

  • u should of seen how i drive my jag

  • i hav an x type the steering wheel is different tho

  • @lowcostvideos Yes, it has been in an accident, but I decided to get a Suzuki SV650 Sports Touring motorcycle instead. :)

  • @MadDogMeh dont read negative comments about them, i did and put me off for a year, but got offered a 3.0 petrol t reg, that was the most neglected un loved car i had ever seen, never polished, oil low on everything, no mot and had been stood under a tree for 6 months, fuul of sap. i paid £600. put meths all over and the sap fell off. t cutted a mettalic car, now the british racing green shines through. straight through an mot. now looks like a new car. ford engine thank god is rapid, manual.

  • @frigg181 Its funny because your from Swden. And their car industry has gone to the wall. Volvo to China and Sabb to Holland :/ Sad, because i Like Saabs, but true. So us Brits must be doing something right with JLR !

  • @frigg181 @mitkohazard - I own a 2002 X-Type 3.0 V6 Sport and a 1998 XJ 3.2 V8, which was actually made by Jaguar. And compared to the old 1992 XJ 3.6 and 4.0 V6 cars I used to own, the X-Type is actually better! It may have been made by Ford (and now Tata), but everything still screams Jaguar from the comfort of the ride to the noise of the engine. They still have that "WOW it's a Jag!" factor. Anyone who says otherwise is jealous or has never owned/driven one. Like if you agree!

  • Im thinking about buying one of these. $5500 w/ 125k on it. Do these cars drive good in winters and are reliable? Thanks

  • When Ford took over Jaguar they realised the company had huge potential. Jaguar's name stands for a lot and people would expect typical Jaguar customs when buying a Jag from any era. Ford put a lot of money into Jaguar and since then they took off into the future. Jaguar is now owned by India's Tata, but not many people realise this and Tata have done virtually nothing for the company as Jaguar and Landrover have done very very well in recent years. I can see them backing out of Tata quite soon
