  • What the heck does Milton Friedman have to do with this?

  • Am only the messenger. You'll have to read the book.

  • Klein says that opportunists will act when responsible people who would otherwise oppose them are disorganized, and the disorganization could be caused by anything which "shocks" a society, including natural disasters, terrorism, war, or propaganda. Then people who want to exploit the resulting opportunity will use whatever justification they can to keep their opposition disorganized.

After thinking about it, I believe she's right.

  • she got the economic crisis prediction spot on.

  • Bafoon, Olberman.

  • Friedman had logic behind his arguments. Klein's is conjecture at best.

  • Surely vouchers couldn't make the schools any worse?

A litmus test would be one of variational concomitance between privatized schooling and number of people who watch charlatan hacks like Keith Olbermann and Bill O'Reilly.

  • I have the book in front of me. Show me which page the quote is from.

  • He had nothing to do with the guy. He gave a few lectures in Chile. Then of course the Liberal conspiracy theorists got right back to work and came up with the fabricated rubbish. Keith Olberman is a bafoon. He has no idea who milton Friedman was, his liberal viceroy just feeds him instructions on who to bash. Nothing but a tool. I hope he dies.

  • Milton Friedman wasn't Pinochet's "friend".
