How do you imagine they dance for so many hours each day surviving on nothing? No - these girls have to eat well.

I'm around the same age as these girls and have done ballet all of my life. I'm around the same size as them and eat alot of calories! If you think they have to starve themselves to get that body, you're wrong, they are doing one of the highest calorie burning sports in the world everyday at an elite standard. They are all muscle...look at those jumps they do...do you really think they could jump that high if they were starving theselves?

My daughter is the same age as these girls, and she studies the same syllabus (in the U.S., but she does the exact exercises shown here), and she has this body type. She eats and eats including desserts! She eats a lot of healthy foods including bread, pasta, pizza, ice cream, salad, sandwiches, oatmeal, fruit, etc. She kept a food journal for a high school project, and believe me, she eats plenty of calories!

To figure out the age of the students who go to the Vaganova Academy, or the Bolshoi you add 9 or 10 to the grade, so these girls are 14/15 years old.

they havent been dancing for 5 years because they're showing a professional school so they've been dancing for more.  This is grade 5, professional school.
