My cat Fritz used to tap the surface of the water, just enough to make it ripple, and then drink it. I then found out that felines like moving water over still water, thus a water fountain would be favorable.

How adorable. :) I'm glad Cachito likes the fountain. I've got one for my two cats, and they like it.
Also, for anyone thinking of getting one of these, you might want to get the filters that come with it, and the cleaning tools as well. Makes things easier.

I think they work great. I just bought one three weeks ago, and my cats really love it. Keep in mind, however, that you have to take it apart and clean it out about once a week. That is a minor hassle, but the product appears to be very well made. I'm totally satisfied with it.
