From the site:
Bob Rock (producer of Metalica, Motley Crue, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, etc.), mixed this previously unreleased material by Art with his band 'Poisoned'. From a recent interview by John Mackie in the Vancouver Sun:
"reached at his home in Hawaii, Rock says he's always willing to chat about Art Bergmann. 'Continually wrote great songs, and never really .. the potential that was there, they never really achieved it ... But the songs don't go away, and his brilliance doesn't go away. And you know what? He was a really great guitar player. I play his stuff all the time.'"
Lost Art Bergmann is comprised of two songs that have never been released, and others that were re-recorded under Duke Street MCA as the album "Crawl With Me". The Duke Street Recording never captured what this one does -- the raw power of Art's songs and playing during a vital time of his career. There is already a lot of industry buzz about this release.
Interesting "review" in Toro - The Underrated Art Bergmann: "His performances were legendary. He'd achieve lift-off in a white buttoned-down shirt, black jeans and boots, almost sober enough to be coherent. Three hours later the shirt would be torn to shreds, covered in blood, and Art was on another planet. It was a thing of beauty, and of terror."

It's like night and day from Cale's shitty production, isn't it?
God bless Art, another victim of the fickle Canadian music audience.

Probably the best thing to come out of Canada in years. Seen him, met him, love him. Much better than Bryan Adams......... ;)
