I sympathize with anyone who's afflicted with this terrible problem. It's a social cancer that imprisons its victims. It's must be hard to make friends and influence people when your B.O. is offensive. It must be awful. It makes me sad when I think of some of the things people have to live with. I really hope someone finds a cure for this and soon.

If anyone in the UK or who has access to BBC3 online that is interested in TMAU, they are broadcasting a one hour documentary (no ad breaks!) on Wednesday 5th September at 9pm local time. It's called "Help, I smell of fish!" fasinating subject.

My mom has this disorder and it has hurt my chances of finding a husband. At first the men are interested. After they meet my mom, they lose interest in me. One guy even told me that he does not want to marry a women who's mother stinks.

TMAU is a socially horrifying handicap. Hopefully one day there will be a cure; maybe gene therapy or maybe enzyme replacement for processing choline to treat this genetic defect.

Is there a way to have this video played on another site? I am a sufferer from of fecal body odor, but I am not sure if it is TMAU or not. I want to create a Body Odor Foundation to help all people around the world with their body odor problems. I want to research the causes of all types of Body odor's and post the cures for those who have found my site. My site is under construction and I will post back here when I have it published.

No problem! I really wanted to share this so that everyone will be able to see what people with Body O. conditions go through on a daily basis.

Hopefully the YouTube "powers that be" will allow it to remain up.
