On Monday, June 13th, over 1000 teachers and community members assembled at the School Reform Commission meeting in order to express our outrage about massive budget cuts, over 1500 teacher lay-offs, and the continued dismantling of public education in Philadelphia.
This video shows how police and school district officials kept citizens out of a public meeting, declaring it a "fire hazard" even though the room was not at full capacity.
