  • torture was coined early this season by the tv anouncer

  • @mrtacoman3000: You're right. Giants announcer Duane Kuiper said into the microphone, "Giants baseball Torture." after a very close game early in the season... everything snowballed, with "Fear the Beard" etc. It was just clean fun for San Franciscans.

  • @65Seasons After the lost Kuiper said "that was torture" later on the radio he coined it giants baseball torture. great season....

  • @65Seasons I remember the game and we actually lost that game. It was a day game at home against Philly when Wilson blew a 4-1 lead after Timmy had recored 2outs and they missed the call at first in what was kinda a play like the blown perfect game call early this year were he was going to cover first. Though who cares cuz it defined are season and Philly got there payback.
