  • The "wobble" of Burchuladze is typical of great deep basses. Boaz Daniel, who has a beautiful voice in this recording, hasn't the voice of a tipycal "italian" Verdi barytone as Sardinero (spanish), Guelfi, Bastianini, Bruson, Ruffo. He is too similar to a tenor. But Burchuladze is more suitable as Inquisitor.

  • Two opposites: Boaz with a real italian Barytone.- Burchuladze with a voice without kern, ping und glanz. Time to retire? Compare the free flow of Boaz and the wobble of Burcha!!

  • Paata Burchuladze _what a strong deep voice he has!!!

  • Ottimo Posa!

  • Ha, I know this. It's from the Israeli Opera Jan '06 with Asher Fisch conducting. It was a great show and Mr. Daniel was splendid.

  • Splendid Posa,so easy
