Punchy's Kinetic Playground

A stop motion breakdown and reconstruction of an Alvin G - Punchy The Clown commercial pinball machine. Over 3,100 still photos and 102 sound effects make up the animated short. Best viewed in HD with good speakers to hear discrete sounds. Soundtrack features Robert Meyers' song The Magnificent Escape.

Regarding the rotation of the playfield, consider that a portrait version of this video would be 1/3rd the size. If you are able to rotate your monitor, please do so.

It's funny, when the camera has been set up "just right", there's not much left to do but find the bad frames and remove them. Then work out the timing. I think the hard work is in the frame by frame, piece by piece movements. Thanks for the kind words everyone!
