University of Michigan SURVIVAL FLIGHT in Genesee, MI. (2011)

This video was taken on Saturday, October 15, 2011. It was taken at the Genesee Township Fire Dept Open House. This is the University of Michigan "SURVIVAL FLIGHT" medi-vac helicopter. The video was taken just as the engines were started. I ran it through until it lifted off. I hope the video comes through clear enough for you to enjoy. You should pay close attention to the timer on this video. Watch for the following times: 1:08 and 3:05. Listen closely and you can hear the engines shift gears and really start to rev harder. It was cool how you could notice it. Also watch for 3:40. If you pay close attention to the main rotors you can actually see them start to bend upwards as the helicopter lifts off. This wasn't my first time to see the Survival Flight helicopters up close. It never gets old. I hope you enjoy!
