Alan Merrill, Cat's Eye Moon

Alan Merrill performs the composition "Cat's Eye Moon," from his 2012 solo album "Snakes and Ladders." The song was written by Mr. Merrill around 1971 for Peter Max's animated "Alice In Wonderland" film, a project which was abandoned half way through completion due to financial woes. Merrill wrote over 30 songs for the project (while waiting for his visa to return to Japan, where he was working as a performer and recording artist ) all glam rock oriented music. He returned to Japan to form the Tokyo based glam rock bands Godzilla (and Yellow Gypsy) and then the legendary Vodka Collins.
