@wks1978 Nowadays there wouldn't even be any Arab money in it. The only exception is Techniques Avant Guarde, a French company fuelled by Arab money (Mansour Ojeh).
PC is not a new idea. Back then, whenever Jones, Reutemann or Regazzoni won a race, they could not celebrate with champagne. This resulted in the peculiar and unique spectacle of the winning drivers splashing everyone with orange juice.

@Ashitaka255 If you can't change the rules then become the rule maker. Bernie in a nutshell!

Amazing Ground Effect video.

I love how poltically incorrect this programme st by modern standards, extolling the virtues of the British teams against the continental ones, blaming the French for changing the rules to give themselves an advantage and the "It's not built by Arabs" comment about the sponsorship.

Can't compete within the rules? Change them. Ferrari in a nutshell.

Also, about the 79, so long as it finished then it was even better.
Amazing. A science programme with science in it. Even had a graph!

Lotus 79, what a beauty. One of my all time favorite vehicles.
I was amazed at the cars that preceded the late 70's as they were really like overpowered carts. In particular, when I look at the 312T I am astounded by how sparse protection was for the driver. It took tremendous bravery and skill to pilot one.
