Trailer Fire Hwy 14 and Attala Road 4045

At 12:07 p.m. Attala Fire and Sallis Volunteers responded to a trailer fire on Hwy 14 West at Attala Road 4045. The caller stated that they could see smoke and flames coming from the home at the Nash residence. Audio Audio At 12:12 p.m. first responders arrived on scene to find flames visible in the back section of the Mobile home Audio Med-Stat EMS was called for medical standby in case medical attention was needed. Audio Firefighters battled the flames and was able to contain the blaze by 12:39 p.m. Emergency personnel were at this location within the past week for a call of a Mobile home that fell off of its block supports. It as believed at that time that a combination of high winds and the lack of tie downs were to blame in that incident. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
