these kids are definitely not filipinos. filipinos do not try to be filipinos. the lesson is "magpakatao ka" which means be humane. we actually ignore other people's accents, idiosyncrasies, etc. What their opinions really show are their parents' prejudices. They definitely came from families with extreme colonial mentality.
