The audio on this sounds distorted but i know that may because of your cameras microphone. I made a video with these speakers at a party. The audio from the video makes my speakers sound distorted but The actual sound coming from the speaker is clear.

I wouldn't run them like that if i were you.
The Limit/clip light is there for a reason and to tell you that the audio signal being sent to the speaker is at a distorted level. This distorted audio is then amplified by the speaker and will eventually put the voice coil out.
Favour quality over volume.
Its probably just a test but keep off the red light !
