My tuning was in E-Flat that's wy i play it one fret higher..

Iv'e used an fender blues deluxe (original 90's)
Tokai telecaster (very old one with tonerider pickup and a seymour and duncan vintage strat pickup)
Ibanez CP-9
Boss BD-2 (keely modified)
And a special Black Cat Phase (very rare)

Enjoy!

  • this song sounds good in E , because u can use the open strings on the E chord if youre playing rhythm. the bridge in e would be C#m -B-A . I sure wish there was a live version of the aces playing this on utube. nice solo work.

  • @dontkr yes, it does sounds better with the guitar tuned in e..thanks for you're comment : )

  • nice sound on the neck, what pickup is!

  • @edcruz79

hello, thanks! it is an seymour and duncan ssl-1 pickup

  • First off....very well done solo. I really liked it. What kbaeth was referring to is the following.........in the verse "like a bird without a nest D-C-Bb like and stranger in the night", the D chord should be a dm. Hope this helps clarify his statement.

aaah... your absolutely right, so does kbeath.

sorry that i did not understand :) thanks!

  • Great job. I had figured most of it out, but you sped up some of the finer points for me. Thanks.

  • It would be really nice to get the tab for this song..

  • Very Nice version. It could possible be turned into a Lesson?

  • One of my favorite songs and you nailed it. My only wish was I could see all of the neck and guitar to see how to play better. Great Job

  • Thank you very much! Just great.
