I hated these movies as a kid. It really want until I hit middle school and saw the original trilogy that I liked star wars. Kids movies about trade embargos? Foh..

Nah I'd say the reason Star wars sucks is because they killed off Darth Maul and included a bunch of goofy looking cartoon characters in it all.

I agree with everything but what you said about the love scenes - they didn't make an impact to me one way or another. There was a lack of intensity or distinctness in some scenes in Episodes I and II. The editing got a bit quicker in Episode III actions scenes but I didn't like that because it's an appeal to sensory stimulation rather than observation. The editing and framing was smoother and more natural in the original trilogies, I think.
