Takeshi Morishima would use this move as his finisher and bring it to ROH.
A deadly move that Suicidaldragon listed as one of the ten most dangerous wrestling moves of all time.
The Backdrop Driver never fails to make me cringe. Bryan Danielson in particular could sell it very well.
However, no one can sell the move like Kenta Kobashi. I remember Samoa Joe delivering one to him at ROH Unforgettable on 2nd Oct 2005.

Kobashi is freaking immortal. He received lots of Homicide Backdrops, Western lariats, elbows, tiger drivers 91, vadersaults and survived kiddney cancer...Is he even human?

God almighty Doc was so good. Only wish he got a run as World champ in the states. R.I.P

@BUTTHEAD45Rulez I would say Misawa. He took sick headdrops and backdrops and any move from everyone.
Misawa didn't even die from a backdrop driver, so why go to these lengths to talk crap about the move? He got hit with a normal belly to back suplex, a staple in Japanese wrestling.
What happened to Misawa was an accident and fans all over the world will surely miss him, but sadly accidents are bound to happen all the time. Even in WWE, where the wrestling is so restricted, someone could end up dying from the simplest moves.

i wonder if williams and yoshihiro takiyama have ever fought because the backdrop driver vs the everest german suplex would have been great
