Why not just NOT pay the bill? The account's not under his name. His former roommate will sort it out soon enough when he gets phone calls on the delinquent account.

@damr666 the point is he was doing the idiot who left leased equipment that was under that person's credit card a favor. He also showed how unnecessary customer service policies can make a situation become by just saying he was someone else to get the isue resolved. I worked in customer service while I was in college and remember having to cringe everytime it was my job's duty to tell a customer something I knew that wasn't right
