i love the same exact part :)
and same, if i hadn't chosen violin i would have chosen the cello.
i guess that warm cello sound is part of me now that i've heard my brother play it since i was born.

I never really think of this as a concerto—more as a symphony that happens to be in three movements with a 'cello soloist. It certainly is symphonic in both its scope and instrumentation...
