Iraq War 2: Bridge Too Little--Non-amphibious USMC can't cross Diyalah River 8/10

Video begins with a typical lying marine malignant narcissist making excuses about his outfits incompetence, pontificating that they expected a modern battlefield with thousands of enemy troops and artillery---when they damn well couldnt even handle the few Fedayeen rear guards with RPGs and AKMs they did face and suffered heavy casualties. The gyrene doesnt know squat about operational maneuver; hes too busy peer/self-validating his weak ego by reliving WW1/WW2 gunplay with enemy rear guards to get his ass to Baghdad so Saddam and Baath party officials cant go into hiding a start a guerrilla war against us.

Several days late while the Armys 3rd ID (M) held west Baghdad, the allegedly amphibious USMC cannot ford across the Diyalah river because 90% of their vehicles are wheeled trucks or heavy tanks that cannot swim. Dumb marines see looters coming their way from the east Baghdad sector they are AWOL/UA from occupying--then get the bright idea--to follow them to find a way to get there without getting wet.

So the marines that cannot swim--need a bridge--but the Iraqis have blown them up. Never actually training together, the USMC clusterfuck now has to wait for engineers to fix the bridge ad hoc. After several days, a bridge span is fixed. The marines didnt even cross the river until April 8th!

Amongst the looters they created, finally on April 9th—6 days late—the egomaniac marines show up in east Baghdad but promptly decide to goof off and help Iraqis tear down a Saddam statue to show-boat to the cameras. They were already beaten to Baghdad by the better-equipped and humbler U.S. Army--so their weak egos desperately need a fix of undeserved, narcissistic public adulation. We know later that we paid $$$ Iraqis to stage the Saddam statue pull-down stunt—just like the Iwo Jima flag-raising was a fabricated, phony stunt in 1945. A fraud and a sham to deceive the American public—and themselves.
