  • sounds like when uncle tom told us that slavery wasnt THAT bad..

  • Todo lo que dice Noam Chomsky se puede aplicar hoy en dia en Colombia. La democracia y los derehcos e estan atacando con la excusa de "usted se calla sea patriotico mientros yo empujo mi propia agenda"..

  • The people love Noam; he has used his position of privilege as a white Westerner male to help others, the only humane choice.

  • So...if superimposed within ANY other governmental rule (country) can you say he would be supportive/understanding of that system.I think he would rail against ANY countries gov't/system and I do think RIGHTLY SO, but then the question becomes(surely Lesser-of-2-evils)but also 'rightly' so given human behavior,--just which system allows for dissention (at least did before "patriot act")..are there some gov't bodies which would suppress the watching/posting/blogging of this interview??

  • Chomsky <3

  • no no no no, he means the miltary industrial complex, thought of conventionally as a corporate endeavor for increased profits through military porgrams, are now being funded by YOUR TAXES AKA "Public Subsidies."

  • I agree, he´s a little vague in that respect. I guess he means that the m-i complex actually is a form under which the industrial complex -in a wide sense- has appeared. Buttom line is the power analysis he makes where the powerful always lead society towards their interests, with different pretexts of course..
