  • Kings, instead of your Bc3, how about Nxe5, with the idea that if dxe5, Bxe5 and Black's rook is trapped, forcing Rb7. Then you can play Rxc8! Rxc8 Bxb7, so the knight on e5 is essentially off limits to Black and you've won an even better pawn!

  • Yes I missed talking about that - I had actually considered it during the game but thought black (after Nxe5 dxe5 Bxe5) had Nfd7 to defend b8 but also Bxb2 was then threatened. It didnt seem so clear.

  • Nice, love being up early in the states and catching your late night videos.

    Cheers!

  • Very nice queenless middlegame win, kinda Karpovian.

    I think that weaker players sometimes make the mistake of equating the queens coming off with a dead drawn game. Not so. You continually maximised small advantages until the opponent cracked and his position fell apart.

  • it is not passive opponent i was like 1600 i played again a 1900. Did i really wnat go in indian dramatic system of big counter-play again a stronger ppl? No for me it is why i choosen a symmetricial system which can help me to have at leats draw

  • Good game.

  • a very well deserved loss.

    I hate to play with such passive opponent.

    When I play it,,, I just try to do a single move out of his "book"... and it's over.

    ;;;;

    nice video and explanation

  • when the video starts, i was considering Nxe5 XD

  • he really wasn't strong enough. Not a fair fight. His choice of opening was clever considering the conditions, but later on his moves lacked precision. I'm still expecting the KC Immortal! Play some GM's :)

  • pfft 7-1?! i cant believe someone on ur team lost!!!!!! thats it give me 1000 chess push ups right now

  • Nice video. Thanks.
