@DannyBoyCA I would have to disagree with your statement saying that Lao received it's "style" and culture from Thailand. That is inaccurate of history. If really examined, both Laos & Thailand received its culture and style from Cambodia. Lao and Thai kingdoms weren't even established until after Cambodian kingdoms were already present and influential. Central Thai culture and food is much different from Laos.Looking closer, central thailand doesn't like to maw lum and stick rice like Lao does

Every YouTube channel that I click or listen to music about Lao pop. Thais people always always compares that Lao pop music language copy to Thais word. FYI, according to the Lao history were born in this land first therefore, the language that you were speaking right now. It is original Lao langauage. So, please STOP accusing us copy ur Thais words. People need to start getting out of that mindset that all Lao Pop music, pop culture, style originates from Thailand. Im sure the Thais are flattered that some of you think this way. If anything, this WESTERN-style of music comes from the US. Just by the mere fact that there are almost 32,935 views of this song already is testimony that not only is the artist gaining popularity but also the song as well. I for one will buy her CD and thats really all that matters. lol
