I found that these lasted for ages WITHOUT a topcoat. When I add topcoat it does start chipping after a few days. Just by themselves, no base or topcoat, it lasted over a week, and this is with my job where I am always using my hands (IT/PC repair). Try it without and see what results you get!

they came off my hands quick nut will not come off of my toes even with polish remover (i do not buy pure acetone)

I really don't like these at all they are super expensive ($12.99 - for 1 manicure) and it's honestly cheaper to just buy the konad plates which you can use over and over and then you can create any design you want including houndstooth and in any color you want. I think your rating of 3 out of 5 is probably fair given that this may be easier for girls just beginning out. I probably would have given this a 2 out of 5 though. Lol

I found that the SH nail effects worked great on me. They lasted really long for me and I was anxious to change after a few days. Plus I only use them when my nails are shorter so I can use one strip on 2 nails.

Awsome ! its quite easy to get a design like that on your nailpolish tough.. konad ! lol i think it even has the same sort of design on one of the plates lol if you want i could look it up for you ^-^
