A rainy night, a broken-down car, a dead phone, and a house with the light on — Naomi and Anna are in the wrong place at the wrong time. But wrong for who?
nice try... it has the feel of the game Heavy Rain although I would ease out a bit on the vignette... Camera work(actors staying in frame and more angles, I've realized that the movie scenes need to have a good ratio of close ups to mid/wide shots otherwise your eye just doesn't feel fulfilled with what it sees, so when the eye longs for a close up, provide it) and acting could be improved otherwise good work... each video you make you learn from tremendously so keep it up.
@gskowal Thanks for the kind words. The reason for all the close-ups would be because this was primarily a test film for our DOF adapter and 50mm lens. Without follow focus and much other support, it is hard to work with a fixed 50mm (I am sure you know this). We are now moving to a DSLR cam, where on our next shoot, we will be working with a fixed 25 and 50mm lens. We also have a follow focus system in place to help mark things. Again, thanks for taking the time to watch, it means a lot :-)
